I claim that a person’s utmost obligation in life is to pursue Truth, and then to align one’s actions with that Truth. This obligation is non-provable — it must be accepted or rejected “axiomatically”, that is, as a foundational assumption. I hold this obligation to be more basic even than belief in God, i.e., if it turns out that God does not exist, then I must reject Him. But if He does exist, then I am obligated to conform my life to that Truth. If you can agree with this assessment, then join me in my quest for that Truth.

I will be posting articles that discuss the ideas that have led me to my present belief: That God exists, and that the He is expressed in the orthodox Christian doctrine as revealed in the Bible.This has not always been my belief, and I want to share the thought processes that brought me to this conclusion.

I am an engineer—computer designer—and a skeptic by nature (I was a skeptic of God; now I’m a skeptic of evolution), so much of my thinking is concerned with the ideas that cause others to reject the concept of God. Most of the articles here will be regarding apologetics (defense of Christian doctrine) and creation/evolution.
